Lucas Miles of Summit Ministries
Lucas is an ordained pastor with over twenty years of ministry experience. He has writes and speaks on topics such as theology, Christian living, politics, and media. Whether he is preaching through the book of Romans or discussing trends in media and culture, Lucas’ heart for the gospel, philosophical prowess, and love of people always shines through.Lucas will be clarifying Critical Race Theory and how to think biblically about topics CRT touches including social justice and racism.
Drew Berryessa of A Living Letter Ministries
Drew began full-time ministry to the sexually and relationally broken in 2004 in Portland, OR. Drew spent ten years in ministry there in a para-church discipleship ministry before founding A Living Letter Ministries in 2015. Drew’s life and testimony stand in stark contrast to the current cultural narrative about sexual identity, demonstrating instead what Christ can do for a sexually broken life submitted to His Lordship. With the current shifts in ideology regarding sexuality, identity, gender, and God’s transformative power, Drew’s ministry, experience, and insight stand as a redemptive voice of truth to the body of Christ. Drew is a graduate of Multnomah Bible College, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry and Leadership. Drew currently serves as a Teaching and Counseling Pastor at Living Waters Church in Medford, Oregon where he lives with his wife and three daughters.
Kristi Parker, LMFT
Kristi Parker is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a private practice in El Dorado Hills, CA. She has been working with children, adults and families for over 29 years, including early childhood counseling with several non-profit agencies, teaching play therapy and supervising interns as adjunct faculty at Western Seminary, and most recently working with individuals and families in her private practice. Because Kristi believes that “the quality of our lives is determined by the quality of our relationships” she seeks to help others improve their relationships. This often means addressing old traumas or wounds in attachment. Kristi has been married for 27 years. She and her husband have four children and a daughter-in-law. Kristi will teach on how to recognize and address depression and suicide compassionately and biblically.
