BAPTISM
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward choice to follow Jesus. There’s no right age or action that will indicate your child is ready. Don’t force baptism on them or make them think it’s something that has to be done before a person starts following Jesus; it’s not (Ephesians 2:8-9). Let your kid initiate the conversation. When that happens, talk about what baptism announces to people and why we do it. If your child can express a personal understanding of salvation & baptism and wants to be baptized, great! If not, don’t panic. They just need more time and you can use the discussion as an opportunity to talk more about God’s rescue plan through Jesus Christ.
Baptisms typically take place in June and September. Contact the office for more info 530-677-3057
