What We Need Most One Decade Later As we mentioned at the opening of our worship; today is the ten-year anniversary of 9/11. I’m sure you caught some of the remembrance shows that have been on television throughout this past week. I’m looking forward to our remembrance segment later in our service today. I think it be meaningful to you. Since 9-11 it is safe to say our overall perspectives of the world and our lives have been assaulted in some unprecedented ways and with greater frequencies and durations. It has been said; ten years ago the world was a very different place. The economy was booming, 401K’s were solid and I the vast majority of Americans probably could not define “Jihad.” It seems to me that 9/11 really marks a decade that has been uniquely difficult for most people.
